I absolutely love fudge but rarely eat it because of the sugar and cals. Fortunately, I have found a healthy alternative that tastes just like fudge! This paleo fudge is low in sugar and high in protein.
Ingredients:
½ cup organic coconut oil
¾ cup cacao powder
¾ cup almond butter
⅓ cup agave (my favorite)
1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
⅛ teaspoon sea salt
1//3 cup diced fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Line a small baking pan with foil – a small pan is best
- Melt coconut oil in a saucepan over medium – should take about a minute or two
- Mix in almond butter, agave, cacao powder, vanilla extract and salt until smooth
- Pour into the pan and even it out. Add the strawberries evenly on top. Refrigerate until firm – about 3 hours
- Add almond butter drizzle (optional) and enjoy!
